God created a special "Year of Jubilee" for His people, the Israelites. They celebrated the "Year of Jubilee"
every 50th year until the Babylonian captivity. Read about it in Leviticus 25. For an informational article

Since we live in the New Testament Church Age, our lives and relationship with God are quite different than
the Israelites experienced in the Old Testament. This year, 2011, I turn fifty. As I considered this milestone,
God brought to my mind the Israelites "Year of Jubilee" and gave me the challenge to follow Him on a "Jubilee Journey," a year set apart for God's praise and purposes.
My "Year of Jubilee" is loosely based on the OT concept. Read the introduction above to learn more.
